April Rowland

April, a native of Charleston, has cemented herself as one of the premier workers’ compensation paralegals in the state. She began her legal career in 2007 and later obtained her paralegal certificate in 2012. Through her time of working with Fred W. Riesen, Jr. she found her passion in helping injured workers. She also expanded her practice into the area of personal injury.

When Riesen DuRant, LLC was founded in 2017, April joined the firm and took the reins as paralegal for all things worker’s compensation. April also contributes by working on the firm’s personal injury practice caseload.

April and her husband, Brian, have three beautiful children, Kayce, Mackenzie, and Harlee. The Rowland’s are notorious for grilling out, but also enjoy family trips to the beach and watching movies. April loves riding motorcycles with her husband.
